Faculty development is essential to excellence in health professions education, but the demands on those who design, deliver and lead it continue to grow. Beyond the Workshop is a dedicated, practice-focused learning experience to strengthen the knowledge, leadership and connections of faculty developers.

Developed by Drs. Heather Buckley and Katherine Wisener in partnership with CAME, this national course brings together participants from Canada and internationally to learn, collaborate and apply evidence-informed approaches to real-world challenges.

This offering will accept up to 30 participants only. Please register early and take advantage of our early bird price, as space is limited.

This session will be delivered in English.

Who should attend?
Faculty development directors, leaders and program leads; educators in established or emerging faculty development roles; educational developers and instructional designers; committee members; and anyone interested in strengthening faculty development in health professions education.

A highly interactive learning experience
Seven modules combine mini-lectures, facilitated small- and large-group discussions, case-based scenarios, simulations, reflection, peer consultation and project-based work. Participants receive curated readings, structured reflection prompts and action-plan templates.
